By day, I’m Megan Curran Rosenbloom, Head of Metadata & Content Management for the Norris Medical Library of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA (how’s that for a mouthful?). In addition to technical services stuff, I manage the history of medicine and rare books collections at Norris and have been working to promote that collection. I’ve served on the editorial board of the Journal of the Medical Library Association, and the board of the Archivists & Librarians in the History of the Health Sciences. (If you want the nitty-gritty, you can check out my CV). By night, I’m a fan of craft beer, shoot a lot of photos, and…yeah…still doing nerdy rare book stuff at night. I’m an organizer for Death Salon, a group of which I am very proud. I’ve been known to cameo in a music video or two.
